ACCA
ACCA is a Portuguese multidisciplinary artistic duo, composed by André Covas (designer, artist and musician) and Carmo Azeredo (artist, researcher and producer). Through the complementarity of their professional bases, together they explore, since 2017, the intersection between art, music, design, technology and critical thinking, producing visual essays and artistic reflections on themes such as digital democracy, cognitive biases, the post-truth era, the dichotomies of the anthropocene, and the conflict between the desire for freedom and the need for control, among others. Their artistic practice favors the use of sound, text, image, new media, sculptural production, site-specific projects and, especially, the installation format. They are currently based in Madrid, where they have an art and design studio, named ACCAstudio, while maintaining an active connection with the city of Porto, as members of the CampaNice collective and the Cultural Association Saco Azul / Maus Hábitos.

Creating her unique world, where science, imagination, doubts, and memories build segmented realities and truths, Carolina Grilo Santos has been working mainly on site-specific projects where intruder objects appear to disrupt logic or temporary micro-universes are created and lagged from reality.
The highlighted exhibitions are “Como plantar um penedo” (CCVF, Guimarães PT), “Devenir Isla - Inéditos 2022” (Casa Encendida, Madrid ES) and "how to make a fossil in a single day" (Galeria Ocupa!, Porto PT).
